We are the only manufacturer in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean with a Florida Product Approval and Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA) certifications. Our lines of impact resistant windows and doors are engineered to withstand hurricane-force winds, heavy rains, flying debris and air pressure changes.
How Impact Resistance Works
A layer of an exceptionally strong polymer called Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB) is placed between two glass panels. This layer reinforces the glass and if it breaks due to an impact, it will remain attached to the sheet and will not fall apart. This feature and the other impact resistance components help prevent damage and injury caused by wind, water and debris.

Barceloneta Headquarter
At 250,000 square feet, our manufacturing facility in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, is among the top 100 largest manufacturing plants in the U.S. While producing some 3,000 units a day in one shift, we keep rigid control of all our processes to ensure the quality of our products.
Since 1997, we have been The Home Depot’s aluminum window and door vendor in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. We’re also proud partners of Kawneer Company, a leading producer of commercial construction systems, architectural aluminum products and systems, and hurricane resistant and energy efficient building materials.
